PERSONAL BACKGROUND:
Community involvement has always been a passion for me and is something which I have been committed to for many years. I was a co-founder of the Central PA Nittany Lion Club, and to this day enjoy Penn State Athletics. I endow a Chair at the university so that a student in need can receive the quality education which I enjoyed.
I am pro-bono counsel for the Jake Gittlen Memorial Golf Tournament, one of the largest amateur golf events in the country. Money raised through the yearly tournament helps fund cutting edge cancer research at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
I am also on the Board of JumpStreet, a non-profit organization dedicated to supplying musical instruments and education to children in need.
I have also chaired events for the South Central PA Heart Fundraising event and the Dauphin County Cancer Society. I was also involved with fundraising for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the United Way.
